Eastward Playthrough #1

As a brief introduction I started playing eastward and I want to write what happened in my game session so I retain it better. And also to remember it if I read this later. I'll try to be brief so this doesn't turn into another responsibility.

What happened

So first a very cool animated cutscene played out showing many characters, there was a man in his 40s (?) finding a girl inside a trailer in the underground. There was a blond person too in a city, they had a vehicle that looked cool. Then the three of them + an extra person boarded a train, are they going on an adventure?

After that we got to the gameplay, we meet Sam, the little girl who liked playing RPGs with her friends. Then there's John (the 40-something guy), he's a digger, I don't know what he is supposed to dig but that's his profession.

He takes Sam to work and goes on a mine to dig. However this day when he arrived the mines were infested with some creatures called "the slugs". Those creatures aparently can suck electricity.

John managed to fight the slugs by hitting them twice with a pan (3 times if they were big) and also exploding their nests with bombs. By the end the major came and told John that the mines are no place for Sam and that she must go to School. Which is fun I guess, she was excited because she was getting to hang out with her friends more.

Then John and Sam went to get John's pan repaired (his main weapon). And after that John made dinner for Sam. Pretty cool.

Controls to remember

I think that's it.
